Our Training Philosophy and Methods:
Our training philosophy is simple. We recognize every dog and handler as a "team" and that each team is unique. Our training is designed to address these diversities. The goal is to devise a training program for each dog and handler that fits their individual situation. Our methods are based motivational principles, the goal for each "team" is to learn and build confidence in both dog and handler through success with humane and consistent interactive training. Our knowledge of animal behavior, added with our many years of experience, allows us to offer very comprehensive and effective programs.

About the Instructors and Dog Stars, Inc.:
Michelle has been instructing dogs and handlers for over 25 years. She received her certification for Paws with a Cause for her years of instruction. Dog Stars opened in 1997 and joined forces with the Central Nebraska Humane Society (CNHS) in 2010 to benefit both organizations providing CNHS an in-house training program for all dog owners in South Central Nebraska.  Michelle's daughter Kali is co-owner of Dog Stars, Inc. is also a class instructor also. McKenna Marsh assists them.

Since it's opening Dog Stars in 1997, we have instructed and graduated over 2,000 owner/dog teams, an active community member in charitable causes such as the CNHS Dog Walk, fostering dogs, offering free classes to assist in the adoption of dogs.

Your Investment:
1 hour session for 6 weeks of Basic Obedience:   $60.00+tax
• Learn the basic obedience commands:
    • sit, come, sit/stay, down, down/stay, come when called, figure 8, proper socialization with other dogs.
    • Q&A sessions before each class to address any "issues" the dog owners might be experiencing (biting, chewing, potty training, etc.)

* All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. Records must be presented at first class.
* We accept dogs as young as 8 weeks.
